Your First Appointment at Women’s Pregnancy Center
When considering scheduling an appointment at any medical clinic, you may wonder what exactly the appointment will be like. We understand, and here at Women’s Pregnancy Center, we want to provide you all the information about a pregnancy test appointment with us, as well as information about our pregnancy center.
WPC exists to offer compassionate care and truthful information for women and men who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. We provide information on parenting, adoption, and abortion, because we believe an informed decision is an empowered decision.
Pregnancy Test Appointment
While we do accept walk-ins, it is encouraged to make an appointment so that we can minimize wait time and serve you best. When you arrive for your pregnancy test, you will be greeted by one of our receptionists who will ask for a form of identification. She will provide you with some paperwork to complete and request that you provide a urine sample for your test. All of our pregnancy tests are lab quality and administered by a registered nurse.
Guests are always welcome to come with you, but we would like for you to know that at the beginning of your appointment, we want to spend some time with just you! There will be a time later in your visit in which you’ll have the opportunity to invite your guests to join you.
Your appointment will begin with a meeting with one of our client advocates. During your conversation, she will gather some more information and paperwork from you. Our goal during this time is to provide you with all the information about your options regarding pregnancy and offer a safe space for you to talk through the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your pregnancy.
At each pregnancy test appointment, you’ll also meet with one of our nurses who will speak with you about your medical background and inform you of the results of your pregnancy test. She will also determine if and when a no cost ultrasound can be scheduled.
Fees
We are a free medical clinic and each of our services are offered at no cost to you! We are able to provide our services because of generous donors in the community who desire that you receive care and support. All you need to bring to your appointment is a photo id.
Location
Women’s Pregnancy Center is located at 1701 E Silver Springs Blvd, in Ocala, Florida. Just look for the blue sign with our name on it! Our property has ample parking space.
Other Services
While we are proud to offer no-cost pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, one of the goals of our time with you is to learn how we can support you past your initial appointments. We do that by offering a variety of resources, community referrals, and programs such as our parenting program. Also, although our name is Women’s Pregnancy Center, men are always welcome. They can even call and schedule their own appointment with our men’s coach!
