What is the abortion pill?
The “abortion pill” is actually a series of two pills designed to terminate a pregnancy. Typically taken 24-48 hours apart, the two pills combine to end the pregnancy and then expel the developing baby.
How does abortion pill reversal work?
When taken in time, high-level progesterone treatment can attempt to reverse the progesterone blocking effects of the first abortion pill, and potentially save the pregnancy. Treatment must be prescribed by a doctor. 2 out of 3 pregnancies are saved through Abortion Pill Reversal.
Is it dangerous for the baby?
Abortion pill reversal does not increase the risk of birth defects. There is also a lower preterm delivery rate than the rest of the population.
